Maui YTD Real Estate

South Maui is taking the lead of 428 sales July YTD which is 32% of sales on Maui. Homes-13%, Condos-26% and Land -23% sales are all down, Homes being the least affected. While the total volume is down and days on market are up we are seeing the Median price increase for homes and condos.

What does this mean? Its a great time to buy and sell. 

If you are a buyer, interest rates are historically low and you may be able to get a deal with the increase of inventory. Even with the increase in home and condo prices over the long run you will save on your mortgage with the low interest rates. Contact your lender for information on estimated mortgage payments.
